Life Story for Janice C. Peterson (Henderson)

Janice C. Peterson of Beacon, formerly of Manhattan, passed away on November 9, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Janice was born September 6, 1945 in Wappingers Falls to the late John and Charlotte Montfort Henderson. She was married to the late Carlton Peterson (2011). Janice graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School class of 1963 and attended Dutchess Community College. She worked in pharmaceutical retail in Manhattan. She is survived by her brother Robert J. Henderson and his wife Jeanine, Susan Peterson, and nephews Bryan Henderson and Eric Henderson and his fiancée Tiffany Eames. She also leaves behind many friends and her beloved cat Tucker. Janice was a voracious reader. A faithful QVC shopper, a lover of all books and all types of music. She loved clothes and was always stylishly dressed. Memorial visitation will be held on November 18, 2017 from 2pm-4pm at Libby Funeral Home, 55 Teller Avenue Beacon, NY.
