Condolence From: Judy King
Condolence: I remember your mother acting as the cheerful, self-appointed greeter at the nursing home. She would kindly and warmly tell newcomers where the dining room was and make them feel comfortable.
I remember Mary's loving and tenacious efforts to keep her mom healthy with supplements and by acting as her advocate when practitioners of western medicine and nursing home officials weren't paying attention to Helen's specific symptoms and needs.
I remember seeing your mother enjoy getting out, the visits and attention from Mary, Paul, Niko, and Willow.
A social worker once told me to think of a family as a mobile suspended from the ceiling. When a family member dies, the mobile lurches and swings at first. After a while, it reaches a new equilibrium. I hope you attain your new equilibrium soon. Love and Hugs, Judy

Condolence: Paul and Mary and Family
I read about the death of your mom in the paper. I am very sorry for her loss. Please know that Laurie, Thaddeus and I are here to help any way that we can. It is never easy to loose a family member, but a parent can be particularly difficult. I am praying for all of you and your families and hope you find strength and joy in great memories that you shared with your mom. She was very lucky to have children who cared for her as much as you two did, and I know that it not easy, but you did so with caring, and an unselfishness that is not typical in this age.
