The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kenneth Spiker can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Mike Wilkinson
Condolence: Ken was a wonderful fighter for the City retirees where he served for 18 years on the Los Angeles City Employees' Retirement System (LACERS)as a Board Member and head of the Benefits Committee. He was instrumental in getting better benefits for the retired members and making sure that they had a friend on the Board. He will be sorely missed.

Condolence From: Anton Calleia
Condolence: A respectful goodbye to a tough, mentoring boss and a valued colleague during 28 years of public service. As Chief Legislative Analyst, he was my indispensable partner representing the City in negotiations with the International Olympic Committee which brought the 1984 Olympics to Los Angeles at no cost to the taxpayers.--Anton Calleia, Chief Executive Assistant to Mayor Tom Bradley, 1973-1993.
