Condolences

Condolence From: Delbert Hall
Condolence: When I was a boy I spent four summers working on the Hart farm. Gerry,Nancy and Jim were my first cousins. Naturally I got to know them very well. I also got to know all of the Hart families and most of the people along the 9th line. That was 75 years ago. Gerry was one of the few, from back then, remaining in the area. He knew everyone for miles around and all of their stories. He will be missed. Gerry is to be commended for his dedication in caring for his brother, Jim, all these years since his parents, my uncle Alex and aunt Nell Hart, died. My heart goes out to Alice and Jim who are left. Good luck to them. Del Hall

Condolence: Alice and Jim I am so sorry for your loss. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I got to spend with you and Gerald. Gerald was a lot of fun to be around and provided me a wealth of knowledge about country living. You started out as patient and patient's family but I considered you friends by the end. I will truly miss Gerald. He was a kind and generous man with a fantastic sense of humour. It was a joy and a pleasure to have the privilege to come into your lives. Patrick

Condolence: I fondly remember Gerry as a young girl him an his wife Alice used to hang around. We would go over to their house an visit. Gerry one time had us hammer walnuts that he had gotten so he could use the walnuts for baking. He once got peanut butter (which my oldest loved) the peanut butter was called goober peanut butter so needless to say my oldest got a nick name of goober from Gerry. It is so sad to hear of Gerry’s passing he will be truly missed.
