Obituary for John Clark

John David Clark, a longtime resident of Nashua passed away suddenly surrounded by his family on Sunday November 12, 2017. He was born in Le Roy, New York on August 5,1925 to Earl and Gladys Clark. Jack was a Navy veteran and graduated from Harvard College in 1947 with a degree in economics.
After graduating from college, he went on to work at The Nashua Corporation for 36 years retiring as General Manager of the Computer Products Division. On February 5, 1948, he married Elaine June Renihan of Nashua the love of his life. They have three children Peter Clark of New Boston, NH, David Clark of Amherst, NH and Susan Clark of Marblehead Massachusetts.
He was a member of the 1946-1947 Harvard basketball team that qualified for the NCAA tournament and continued throughout his life to be a devoted fan of Harvard basketball. He served on the Nashua Historical Society Board of Directors for many years.
A kind, gentle, caring man with a love for learning, Jack was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. A soft spoken man loved by many, we will miss him so.
In addition to being survived by his wife and three children, he leaves five grandchildren Abigail, Julie, Neill, John and Ryan and his sister Ann Nadeau of Rochester, NY.
SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held on Monday November 20 at 11:00 am at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 214 Main Street, Nashua. Donations in Jacks memory may be made to the Le Roy Historical Society 23 East Main Street, Le Roy, NY 14482.
