Condolence From: Ethel Storhaug
Condolence: Sincere sympathy to all of Helen's Family. She was a wonderful neighbor and over 50 Years we enjoyed this delightful lady. Sne had a multitude of interests and always enjoyed a visit with Jo when he was wood turning. She was in direct line with our garage and could see when he was working and she'd check out his current project. It was always time for a visit when she was walking her pride and joy, her little Sheltie. Hers was a life well lived..an example for everyone.
May you find comfort in all your memories,
Sincerely,
Ethel Storhaug

Condolence From: SUSANNAH PARANICH, Vancouver, BC
Condolence: My deepest condolences to Ron and Joyce Panchyshyn. Aunt Helen was a wonderful dear auntie throughout the lifetime I knew her. Her brother, my Dad, Peter Paranich and my Mom Olga, loved her too--always kind, good, warm and loving. I always enjoyed our long distance phone calls while she was still in her own residence and she had a wonderful memory full of good memories to share with me and always appreciated my annual Christmas cards. After her health took a big turn, I tried to keep up to how she was doing through Joyce. It was a sad shock to read of her passing just scrolling through Facebook today. My thoughts and prayers are with her now, and sympathies to all her family on the loss of this wonderful family icon!

Condolence: Ron and Joyce:
We want to let you know that we deeply share in the loss you feel right now.
These last few years have been a struggle for Aunt Helen and now she is finally at rest. It is a relief that she is no longer suffering but she has still left a feeling of emptiness that will be very hard to fill. She has passed by us all now, has left her mark on our souls and quietly moved on. She will be forever remembered as the matriarch of your family.
Someone as wonderful as your mother comes along rarely. We all aspire to the sense of togetherness that she fostered amongst her family. She displayed outstanding moral principles, and was never afraid of diligent hard work. She did all this to build a foundation with her husband for her children, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. She made everyone around her feel special and she always took a moment to show others how important they were, even if it was just a few minutes over a cup of coffee in her kitchen.
She was dedicated to her country, her heritage and most of all to her family. The daughter of true pioneer immigrants, she knew a great many personal hardships and overcame them with dignity and integrity. She had a very keen sense of right and wrong and was not shy about sharing this with you if you sought advice from her and sometimes even when she just thought you needed to know and had not asked! She did this all with a well-intentioned heart.
We know you are so very proud of whom she was. You should be. Carry those memories of her life forward and pass the things she has brought to you on to as many people as you can and we know she would happy. If you should need anything, please know we are here to help.

With Sorrow and Respect

Marvin and Janice Paranych
