Phyllis Ruperto, 74, of Ewing, passed away, Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Capital Health Systems at Hopewell. Born in Trenton, Phyllis was a lifelong area resident. She was employed by the State of New Jersey Department of Taxation for over 40 years.
Daughter of the late Dominic and Antoinette (Tramontana) Ruperto; she is survived by first cousins, Marietta and husband Sam Berenato, Genevieve Tuccillo, and Marlene Purcell; second cousins, Dennis and Colleen Anglie, Lucian and Josephine Tramontana, Ludwig and Kathy Tramontana; three nieces, Lisa Tallon, Robin Swanberg, and Ruth Stein; as well as many dear friends and neighbors.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, November 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. James Church, 29 E. Paul Ave., Trenton, NJ. Family and friends may call Monday from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. Entombment will follow in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, 1200 Cedar Ln., Hamilton, NJ.
