Obituary for Alice Gales

Mrs. Alice Lee Gales was born on March 26, 1941 in Wilson, La to the late George and Martha Lee. She passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 18, 2017 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of John Edward Gales, Sr and to this union she leaves fond memories to her children John, Jr., Randy, Ricky, Johnathan, Wilhelmina, Beverly Gales-Terry, and Regina Gales Brown. She also leaves behind two sisters by law; Ethel Barnes and Sheryl Brown as well as a host of grandkids, great grandkids, nephews, and nieces. She was preceded in death by her sisters; Betty Faye London, Clara McKnight, Corean Lee, and Martha Lee, brothers; David Lee, George “Uncle June” Lee, Jr., Sam Lee, and Jessie Lee. Relatives and friends of the family as well as neighboring areas are invited to attend a celebration of life in her honor on Saturday, November 25, 2017, for 12:00 a.m. at Living Way United Pentecostal Church, 810 Walnut St., Laplace, La 70068. Visitation begins for 10:00 a.m. Pastor Michael R. Day, officiant. Entombment St. Peter Catholic Church Cemetery, 1550 LA 44, Reserve, La 70084. Arrangements of her final care have been entrusted with Treasures of Life Center for Life Funeral Services, 315 E. Airline Hwy, Gramercy, La 70052 “ When Someone You Love Becomes A Memory, Their Memory Becomes A Treasure”
