It is with sadness, that we the family, have to announce the passing of Carol Joseph Meunier, West Arichat, that occurred at the Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston on November 26, 2017 with his loving family by his side. Born in Arichat, he was the son of the late Raymond and Eva (Fougere) Meunier. Carol loved music especially when he was playing his guitar. He is survived by his brother, Andrew (Joanne), West Arichat; sister, Juliette DeYoung, Petit de Grat; nieces, Shirley Samson (Bradley), Louisdale, Darlene Meunier (Gordie Boudreau), Port Royal, Kelly Hibberts, Arichat; great nieces, Nicole DeYoung, Dartmouth, Kaitlyn DeYoung, West Bay, Tylesia Meunier, Dartmouth, Anisa Samson, Louisdale, Anndrelyn Meunier, West Arichat, great-great niece Payton Meunier, Dartmouth; nephews, Andrew Meunier, West Arichat, Darrell Young (Jacqueline), West Bay, Paul DeYoung (Karen); great nephews, Kenneth Samson, Louisdale,Tyler Meunier, Elmsdale, Riley Charon, Arichat. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister in infancy. There will be no visitation per request. Funeral Mass will be held in Our Lady of Assumption Church in Arichat on Wednesday morning, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michel November 2
9th, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michel Exalant officiating. Burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in West Arichat. A reception will take place in the Acadiaville Hall in West Arichat, following the burial. Memorial donations can be made to the family.
