Obituary for David Wesley Brown
Rev. David Wesley Brown, 90 years old, of 724 Fir Spring Drive, Waynesboro, PA, died at 8:35AM November 22, 2017 at HCR Manor Care in Chambersburg, PA. He has been in failing health since April 2016.
Born January 21, 1927 in Greensboro, NC, he was the son of Lenwood Levi and Naomi (Groff) Brown.
He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.
He and his wife Reba (Thomas) Brown were married February 18, 1951. They lived in Pennsylvania since 2007. She died May 25, 2010.
He is survived by one (1) daughter and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by one (1) sister.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45pm on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Wilkinson Funeral Home, 100 Branchview Drive NE, Concord, NC 28025, (704)786-3168. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at Oakwood Cemetery.
