Obituary for Elsa Raquel Pineda (Ayudante)
Elsa Raquel Pineda “Rachel”, 58, died Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Lima, Peru, she had resided in New York for 25 years before moving to Ewing, NJ 2 years ago. Rachel dedicated her time to God by praying, preaching, and singing Christian songs. She was a devoted and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Maria (Garcia) Ayudante; Rachel is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Luis Arturo Pineda; her loving son, Henry Pineda and wife Paola; her granddaughter, Krystal; her sisters, Elba, Emma, Carmen; her brothers, Lucho, Segundo, and Rodolfo; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Christian funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2017 beginning at 4:30 PM at the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 1584 Parkside Ave., Ewing, NJ 08638. Family and friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
