Joanna (Jo) Marie Cameron, 54, of Missoula MT. passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 in Trout Creek, MT.
Jo was born January 2, 1963 in Salem, Ohio to Charles L. Moore and Barbara Moore. She was the youngest child of four girls. Jo is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara. She is survived by her father, Charles; her two children, son Ralph L. Lattanzio of Sanford, N.C. and daughter Allison R. Cameron of Missoula, MT. She is also survived by her three sisters. These are Candy (Randy) Cope, of East Palestine, Ohio, Jeannette (Steven) Petty, of Houston, TX, and Mary Lou (Jeff) Landsberger from East Palestine, Ohio. She also left behind 9 nieces and nephews, and multiple great nieces and nephews.
Jo was born in Salem, Ohio and graduated from East Palestine High School, of East Palestine, Ohio in 1981. She graduated from High School for her formal education but through many life experiences continued her educations in things such as trucking dispatch, professional long haul trucking and strong interpersonal skills. These skills supported in her most recent career choice as a receptionist. In 1984 she moved to Missoula, Mt. Here, She was employed at Saks Trucking Co. for a number of years and from there then moved on to become a receptionist for the Missoula County Commissioners Court the last 9 years of her life.
Music was always a big part of her life. Not only did she listen to music, she played music and was a musician in a family band. Gardening was a passion she took a lot of time and pride perfecting. She enjoyed the life that Montana has to offer. She loved to go camping and floating the river with her children every chance she was able to.
Joanna never met a stranger. She enjoyed greeting, caring for and interacting with a cheerful smile.
