The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joseph Hagood can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Joseph and I met while working at Springbrook. Joseph was full of humor just a loving,Kind spirit. Some nights we would just cut up , laughing until we were hurting over flowing with tears. That is the way I will always remember him just full of laughter and Joy. Someone who just loved and wanted the same in return. Rest easy my friend you've touched so many you will truly be missed but never forgotten.

Condolence: I first met Joseph in the 4th grade at West End middle school. I was a new student and he was the first person i became friends with and we stayed friends ever since. All of my greatest childhood memories all have Joesph in them. He always made me laugh until i couldn’t breathe and we always got separated from each other by the teacher in every class that we were in for cutting up. It’s not fair that Joseph was taken from this life so soon. He will definitely never be forgotten.

Condolence: Oh what can I say about Joseph (Lamon) Hagood. 1st he was a True Friend to me & a True friend to ( Worshippers 4 Christ) who he was a Faithful Tenor and Member of our choir for over 10 years. Joseph had a passion for Church and for singing. he was also a comedian at his own rights. it was never a dull moment with him around. Joseph loved a good Praise Break in church, and when the lord showed up, Joseph would dance and Show out. He loved dressing and making sure that our choir colors would be on point. even though I was the director, he would every year make STRONG SUGGESTIONS on the Music Selections :) and I would agree with him. Jospeh loved his Mother, Grandmother, Brothers, Niece & Nephew till the end. He also had a lot of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins & Friends who he talked daily about. im sure as the days go by you will miss him as we do, but in time God will help heal the void. He was more of a brother to me than friend or choir member. we loved you Joseph, But God Needed you more, Rest on Bro and im sure that Heaven had A PRAISE BREAK SHOUT, and you Took advantage and showed them your dance moves. we will see you again 1 day.
