Condolence: Jimmy, my brother in Christ and brother by choice. He tried and succeeded in making me feel safe and loved.

I remember hearing a little child saying, (we were vacationing in the mountains - that's what our joint families did) "look mommy, there's a real live cowboy!"

He was serious, but loved a good belly laugh. Jeff Odom stopped in to see him just a week or so ago & offered him boiled peanuts he had just bought. Those peanuts transported him back to days of health & life at its fullest. A sack full of hundred dollar bills wouldn't have made him happier. I'm blessed to have witnessed the connection of those two neighbors and friends. That's the stuff love does. It's an awesome thing to love and know you're loved in return.

I love Jimmy and he'll always be tucked away in my heart. I look forward to praising the Lord with him one of these days without thought of our troubles here on earth.

He knew he had the best and most loving care this side of heaven. Betty Sue, Dale, Carol & Belinda - You know my love for all of you.
