Nathan Morse

The necessary brevity of an obituary means that it understates his induction into the Ohio Military Hall of Fame. Our family (Nathan, Becca, Galen, and Noe Morse) had the privilege of attending his induction into the Hall of Fame in 2008. Hearing the following citation read in the Ohio Statehouse made me very proud of his fierce determination: http://www.ohioheroes.org/inductees/2008/turpin.htm As a small child, I, Nathan, would while away much time during adult conversations around me, playing with cars on the floor and hearth at his house atop a sloped yard, across the road from the street-level house of his mother, Frances (aunt to Jane Morse, nee Woodard, my mom), whom we would visit periodically. Just as the obituary, by necessity, glossed over the Hall of Fame induction, I am confident that so many other important moments and experiences are left to those who knew him to commemorate in tales and recollections.
