Katherine “Kay” V. Grandinetti (nee Bruno), 81, of Carlstadt since 1961, passed away on December 1, 2017. For 13 years, she was the Administrator for Human Resources at the Bank of New York in West Paterson, retiring in 1999. Kay was a parishioner of Assumption R.C. Church in Wood-Ridge and a member of the Rosary Altar Society for over 25 years. She was also a member of the Wood-Ridge V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 3616 for 50 years and the Carlstadt Senior Friendship Club. Kay had many close friends and enjoyed spending time with them. She greeted everyone with her warm smile. Beloved wife of the late Thomas L. Grandinetti. Loving mother of Karen Groome and her husband John. Cherished grandmother of Jesse and Justin. Funeral departing from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 9:00 AM for a Funeral Mass in Assumption Church, Wood-Ridge at 9:30 AM. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visitation Sunday 4-8 PM.
