Condolence: Dear Mrs. Leonard and Family,

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Leonard's passing. Upon reading his obituary It sounded like he had a long and eventful life with his military experiences, education, travels, and his family his main priority.
I will always remember his welcoming smiles at church. He will truly be missed. Again words cannot expressed how sad I am to hear of his passing.

May fond memories of him during this holiday comfort you all.

Condolence: Dear Dorothy, Dan was strong but gentle. When he spoke people paid attention. His family meant a great deal to him . And he will be missed more than he probably ever imagined. Our thoughts are truly with all of you, especially at this time of year when we need the strength of our family to be near to us. It's a difficult time and we are thinking of you a great deal. With Love, Bob and Jean

Condolence: Fifteen years ago when I was a new graduate student at San Diego State Univ, I requested to have a mentor that could help me through English language and writing skill. I met Dan in front of the SDSU library and he was very tall. Since then, Dan had been more than a mentor. He introduced me to his lovely wife, Dorothy and welcomed me into his home so that I learned more about American culture. He spent countless hours proofreading my papers and thesis. He didn't just proofread those papers; he said he learned from them. I would never forget the time we spent discussing so many things and exchanging perspectives about cultures in Dan's living room. I learned so many things from Dan and I am very honored to know a honorable man with great values. My sincerest condolences to Dorothy and family.
