Obituary for Rosamond L "Mickey" France
— Rosamond L. France, 88, of Missoula, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her loved ones, of natural causes.
She was born June 26, 1929, in Alexander, North Dakota, to Clyde and Gertrude Lindsley.
On May 10, 1947, she married Leo E. Sharbono in Missoula. The couple had three children, Judy Ann, JoAnn and Ricky.
She married a second time to Blaine (Miles) France on March 21, 1970, in Missoula. They moved to Butte where she lived for 19 years, before coming back to Missoula, where she spent her remaining years.
She enjoyed life, spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter JoAnn (Missoula), step-son Frank France (Colorado), sister Linda Minster (Missoula), brother Larry Lindsley (Jean) (Missoula), four grandchildren, Brad, Michelle (Missoula), Jeremy (Billings), Misty (Missoula), 17 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at the Wingate on Saturday, Dec. 9, at 3 p.m.
