Obituary for Steven Hill Davis

Steven Hill  Davis
Steven Hill Davis, 77, son of the late Richard W. and Mary E. (Hill) Davis was born on May 18, 1940. Mr. Davis died peacefully at Southern NH Medical Center on December 6, 2017.
He was the husband of Jeannie Davis, with whom he recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary.
Steven was a graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy. He later attended both Maine Maritime Academy and Burdett College.
He was a United States Army Veteran having served aboard an LCU during the Cuban Missle Crisis.
He was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church in Nashua. He was also a lifelong member of the Boy Scouts of America, achieving his Eagle Scout in 1955. He has received numerous awards including the Silver Wreath and Silver Beaver Awards. He was a proud member of the NH Chapter Sons of the American Revolution.
Besides his beloved wife, Jeannie, he is survived by his son, Richard Davis and his daughter, Amy Leary; his four grandchildren, Hailey Davis, Owen, Ian and Rex Leary; his sister, a niece and three nephews.
SERVICES: A Memorial Service in his honor will be held at the Main Street United Methodist Church, 154 Main St., Nashua on Friday morning at 11:00 AM. Interment prayers and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a memorial donation in Steve’s memory to the Daniel Webster Council, BSA, 571 Holt Ave., Manchester, NH 03109, please specify and note Lee Scouting Museum/Steve Davis.
