Obituary for William W. "Bill" Bray Sr.

William W. "Bill"  Bray Sr.
William W. "Bill" Bray Sr., December 9, 2017. Born in Pittsburgh on October 15, 1932 to the late James M. and Juanita M. Bray. Predeceased by his first wife Anna Mae (Dyer) Bray and son Thomas;

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Ann S. Bray; children William Jr. (Kathleen), Cathleen Kalick (David), Susan Schaible, Timothy (Melissa), Terence (Michelle), Colleen Bianchini (John), and Daryl (Fiancé Andrea) daughter-in-law Eileen Bray; stepsons Thomas Schultz (Jennifer) and Robert Schultz (Seanne); 23 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends.

Bill served in the US Navy as an Aviation Machinist Mate on the USS Coral Sea Air Craft Carrier during the Korean War. He worked for Addressograph Multigraph as a printer/operator prior to starting United Business Service that printed English Curriculum’s for the local Universities, as well as other publications. He then moved to Philadelphia and founded Air-Vent Systems which he ran until his retirement in 1994. During that time, he received a US Patent for his invention of a Ducted Grease Vapor Exhaust System. He had his pilot’s license and loved to fly small planes. He also enjoyed playing golf with his family and friends and was a long-time member of Plymouth Country Club, Oak Terrace Golf Club and Kelly Greens Golf and Country Club in Ft. Meyers Florida.

All are invited to a viewing Fri. Dec. 15, from 5:00-8:00 PM at the Heritage Chapel at George Washington Memorial Park. Visitation on Sat. Dec. 16 from 10:00-11:00 AM and a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM both at Oreland Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 1119 Church Rd, Oreland, PA 19075.
