Obituary for Lydia Pereira
Lydia Pereira of Mantoloking passed away on Monday December 11, 2017 at home after a short illness with her family by her side. She was born in Elizabeth before moving with her family in 1964 to Linden. Lydia worked for Brazill Bros. for 31 years before moving to Mantoloking in 2003. Lydia worked for Quinn and Kelegelman Attorney in Spring Lake. Lydia was also a proud E-Book author.
Lydia was predeceased by her mother Celeste Tavares Pereira in 2000 and father Eduardo Pereira in 2011. She is survived by her wife Linda Pavuk, a brother Eduardo Pereira of Marion, Indiana, sister-in-law Deb Williams Pereira, brother Michael Pereira of Freehold, NJ, sister-in-law Mary Ann Sminer Pereira and nephew Jason Pereira and his wife Jade of Ocean, NJ and a niece Alyssa Pereira Carter and her husband Jonathan of Tinton Falls, NJ.
Arrangements are under the care of Orender Family Home, Manasquan. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation by logging onto www.glioblastomafoundation.org or mailing a donation to The Glioblastoma Foundation, PO Box 62066, Durham, NC, 27715.
