Obituary for Everett N. Hensley Jr.
Everett N. Hensley, Jr., 73, of HIlham, Tennessee passed from this life on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at his home.
Everett was born in Gainesboro, Tennessee on Monday, August 21, 1944 to the late Vaudie (Chaffin) and Everett N. Hensley, Sr.
Everett was a loving husband, daddy, and PA. He chose to be a daddy when he didn't have to be.
Everett is survived by:
Son: Michael Hensley and Mary Cheyannne Tate of Hilham, Tennessee
5 Grandchildren: Traci Hensley, Kimberly Hensley, Michael "Bubba" Hensley, Shawn Hensley, and Jennie and Steven Burns.
7 Great-Grandchildren
7 Sisters: Wanda Corner, Jean Brown, Cheryl and Danny Spivey, Lynn Manier, Cat Barlow, Ebbie and Jimmy Conner, and Sam and Mark McCall.
Brother: Jerry E. Hensley and Beck Burgess
Several nieces, nephews, and close friends
In addition to his parents, Everett was preceded in death by: Wife of 49 years, Janis Joan (Jackson) Hensley, 3 Brother-in-laws, Jim Jackson, Dewey Corner, and Edward Brown; Niece, Nicole Hudleston.
Funeral Services for Everett N. Hensley, Jr will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home at 1:00 pm.
Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Wednesday, December 20, 2017 from 10:00 am until time of services at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
Special thanks given to his home health nurses Tammy Sims and Michelle Robbins.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to help pay for the funeral expenses.
