Obituary for Steven Ayres
AYRES – Steven J. Ayres, age 71, of Comstock Park went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 18, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, S.J. (Junior) and MaryAnn Ayres; parents-in-law, Francis and Ann Campau; and several aunts and uncles. Steve is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Susan; children, Jolene (Gawain) Teuscher and Stacey (Matt) Corwin; grandsons, Braeden and Tynes Corwin and granddaughter, Allie Teuscher; sister, Shawn (Tom) Hazel; special nieces, Nikki (Kirk) Moundros and Toni (Darwin) Beacham; special family members, Gail, Rick and Emma Roderick, Gary Ayres, and cousins. Steve began his lifelong career in funeral service upon completing his education at Wayne State University and obtaining his mortuary science license in 1968. He served as president and secretary of the Comstock Park Rotary Club and served also as a board member of the Michigan Trail Riders Association. The family will receive family and friends at the Beuschel Funeral Home, 5018 Alpine Avenue, Comstock Park on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will follow at Beuschel Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Louie Konopka from Blythefield Hills Baptist officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Lowell, Michigan. In memory of Steve, please consider making memorial contributions to 2nd Chance Corporation of Cedar Springs or Comstock Park Rotary Club.
