Joe Lee Brown, 70 of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Born Friday, February 7, 1947 in Sparta, Tennessee, he was the son of Guy and Walkey Cole Brown. He was the husband of Joyce Brown, and was a member of Lansden Church of Christ. Joe was a retired computer programmer for Automated Machines at Tutco in Cookeville, Tennessee, and also a farmer.

Daughters, Tonia Wilson and Shawna Brown of Sparta
Son, James Guy (Diona) Brown of Sparta
Grandchildren,
Jonny Wilson, Jessica Wilson, Haily Shively, Cierra Thomas, Kyler Brown, and Kayleigh Brown
Brother, Henry Buck (Wanda) Brown of Sparta
Special cousin, Carolyn Patrick
Nieces, Angie (Brian) Montgomery and Teresa (Greg) McCaskey.
Great Nieces, Dakota McCaskey and Maci Smith
Great Nephews, Britton (Brandi) Smith and Ty McCaskey.
Great great niece, Ryli Smith
Many friends, neighbors, and cousins also survive.

Preceding him in death are his parents; his son-in-law, Randy Wilson; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Lyda Briggs; and his brother, Guy Jr. Brown.

Funeral will be held at 1pm on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Ronnie Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Saylors Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4pm until 8pm on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the funeral home for visitation.
