Obituary for Billy Ray Scott
Billy Ray Scott, 67, of Cookeville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
Billy was born in Cookeville, Tennessee on Friday, May 19, 1950 to the late Marie (Pryor) and Lonzo C. Scott.
Billy was the funniest guy anyone has ever known and lived everyday of life to its fullest and always had fun living life his way. He could find a friend in anyone and loved his family more than words can say and he will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Billy is survived by:
Wife: Deborah Scott
5 Children: Bill Ray Scott
Daniel Mackie Scott and Wife Natalie
Joy Rhea Marie Burton
Heather Victoria Fogarty and Husband Sean
Michelle Andrea Javvadhi and Husband Srisagar
8 Grandchildren: Chelsea Fogarty, Samuel Alred, Jarrod Scott, Myles Scott, Ryan Burton, Cody Alred, Madison Fogarty, and Jacob Ayers
2 Sisters: Louise Morgan and Margaret Conner
A host of nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by: Brother, Arthur Scott; Sister, Faye Upchurch and Infant Sister, Scott.
Celebration of Life for Billy Ray Scott will be held from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home at 7:00 PM on Friday, December 22, 2017 with Ryan Burton officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 22, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
