I will remember beautiful Patsy as the consummate mother. First from my vantage as Helen's college roommate and then as the post-grad local 'orphan' down the street, Patsy (and Walter) was that loving shoulder looking out for me as she looked out for so many others. She was generous in spirit, in love, in caring, in so many ways. Dinners at 149 East Elm were as full of hospitality as they were delicious. Ah, lamb stew.... I remember going to see Patsy sing with the Greenwich Choral Society. She was such a gentle soul and such a lady. So many things. Her mark upon me is indelible as is her place in my heart. It has to ache to lose someone so special, a fair cost for the honor of knowing her. Much love, Liz
