Alice  Stone (Prince)
Alice Stone, 75, of Piedmont, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017, at her residence. She was born October 6, 1942, to the late Arthur Lee Prince and Matilda (Bruce) Prince in St. Louis, MO.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded on death by her husband, William F. Stone Sr.; four brothers, Robert Prince, Billy Prince, John Prince, and Arthur “Sonny” Prince; and two sisters, Evelyn Prince and Lorene Prince.
Alice is survived by one son, William “Bill” Stone and his wife Robin of Piedmont; one daughter, Susan Stone of Piedmont; one brother, James Prince and his wife Brenda of Fenton, MO; one sister, Birdie Tucker and her husband Walter of Piedmont; four grandchildren, Mindy Kitchell and her husband Josh, Joseph Stone and his wife Cheyenne, Mark Bales and his wife Alchiea, and Samantha Hogan; and four great-grandchildren, Julie, Lily, Evelyn, and Michael.
Alice worked at a sewing factory for many years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was more than a mother and grandmother, she was a friend. If she knew you, you were her family. She was the most welcoming person you would ever meet. You could turn to her for anything. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Alive in Christ Church in Piedmont. Pastor Richard Sanders will minister to the family. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
