Kenneth "Bud" Brown  Scott
Kenneth "Bud" Scott, age 87 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life Friday, December 22, 2017, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He was born Thursday, June 5, 1930 in Cookeville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Jimmy Joe and Lena (Haynes) Scott.

Bud married Jackie (Brewington) Scott the love of his life. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Bud was a lifetime member of Willow Avenue Church of Christ and owned and operated his own Construction Business in Cookeville. He and his family were responsible for building a large percentage of Downtown Cookeville.

Bud is survived by:

Gregory and Shari Scott of Cookeville, TN

2 Grandchildren:
Andrew Scott of Cookeville, TN
Andrea (Scott) Edmonds of Huntsville, AL

3 Step Grandchildren

13 Great Grandchildren

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his Wife of 67 years, Jackie Brewington Scott, 1 Sister: Pat McCormick, 2 Brothers: Joe Nelson and Billy Scott.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Happy Haven Home for Children.

Funeral services for Bud will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2017 beginning at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremiah Tatum and Bro. Clarence DeLoach officiating. Interment will follow in Cookeville City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, December 26, from 11:00 am until time of service at 2:00 pm.
