Glenn Devere Knapp
Glenn Devere Knapp, age 76, of Warsaw Twp., PA, passed away with his loving family by his side, on Friday, December 22, 2017, at UPMC Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Glenn was born in Punxsutawney, PA, on July 7, 1941, to the late Kenneth Carlton and Madelyn Martha (Young) Knapp. On May 16, 1970, Glenn married Esther Hazel (Thompson) Knapp, and after almost 48 years, Esther survives him. You never had to guess where you stood with Glenn or what he was thinking. He was a great teacher, example, and role model for his kids. Knapp of Brookville, PA. Glenn is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 1 daughter; Darlene Gertrude (Knapp) Bruno, and 1 brother, Marlin K. Knapp. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, from 2 – 4pm and 6 – 8pm, at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, ltd, 345 Main St., Brookville, PA, 15825.
