The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Pastor Julius DeBerry can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Dr. Brian Schaeffer
Condolence: I am still at a lost for words as merely the vessel is prepared to commemorate the spirit which is before the Lord. No need to further speak of his impact upon me or even the countless number he helped to bring into the glory of Christ. Truly he was a gift to the body whose ministry reached as many as Billy Graham, and teaching as powerful as Kenneth Hagin. As an encourager to encouragers I am sure he repaired many soldiers injured in the battle and walked with many a weary Pastor. Now he is getting a deserved rest listening to the voice of the angelic choir, shouting without weariness, singing and blowing kisses to the Lord. Here I could give the customary "on behalf of" and usually it would be others and then myself, but in lieu of the tradition, I want to thank the DeBerry's in particular Missionary Constance for sharing her blessing so freely with us all. To the awesome off spring of this couple, thank you for growing up in the faith and well representing your heritage in the Lord.

Condolence From: Cordelia Ramsey
Condolence: My condolences to the DeBerry families. I'm sorry to hear about the loss of dear Julius. Some Bible scriptures that have helped me during times of loss include Isaiah 26:19 and Psalm 37:28,29 which states in part: "Your dead ones will live...They will rise up". And the Bible also says "The righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will forever reside upon it". Therefore the Bible promises that we may be reunited with our loved ones lost in death by means of an earthly resurrection. This is further confirmed by John 5:28, 29 which says "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". This we know is possible thanks to Jesus Christ's ransom sacrifice. Thus we have a genuine hope of everlasting life in a world without wickedness or suffering. I hope that these scriptures will be of some comfort to you.
