Condolence: I met Jane and Leslie through showing dogs. She was always so kind to me and I looked forward to seeing her at shows and having a chat. I think of her often, such a lovely lady.

Condolence: I am saddened by the loss of my glamorous and talented Aunt Jane. I have always been grateful for how she and Alan (and cousins Rick & Leslie) took me in when a summer student job brought me to Calgary, giving me my first opportunity to get to know them all, and for the fun we had that summer. She later provided my daughter Colleen with her first real painting tools; it’s perhaps no coincidence that both Colleen and her granddaughter Vanessa now work in artistic fields. We’re especially appreciative of Vanessa’s loving care and attention to her grandma during her last years.

Condolence: Our deepest sympathies to Jane’s family. Jane’s warmth and smile will always be remembered. It was always a thrill to get a call from Jane when the poodle puppies could be played with. I still smile when I think of sitting on the kitchen floor and having all of those wonderful poodle puppies all around me. And of course, we were lucky to get our first Standard Poodle from Jane and Leslie. Jane touched the hearts of many and will be missed dearly.

Condolence: to Rick and your family,
We met your mom in 1980 at the "Expressions" art gallery in Calgary. We were a young couple living then in the Kensington area of Calgary. We discovered the art gallery and were warmly welcomed by some of the artists their. It was your mom that we quickly become fond of and she was like a mom to us.She was a wonderful, loving and kind lady;always making time for us. She was a huge encouragement to us and it meant so much as we were new in Calgary with no family here. She touched our young lives in a special way that we never forgot.
Reading about her passing brought back deeply special memories from that time and also some sadness.Your mom painted us a winter picture and we have some other special items she painted. Something we treasure from your mom who made a difference in our lives. We wanted you to know that she helped us so much with her time and loving kindness. What a beautiful lady.......
Many blessings of peace and healing to your family,
Warmly,
Fred and Donna Bacque

Condolence: Rick and family: So sorry to read about Jane's passing. I will always remember Jane as the smartly dressed staff member with high heels in the Registrar's Office at the University of Calgary in the late 1960's. She had a presence that has never been forgotten as she worked well with everyone with whom she had contact. Sincere condolences.
