Obituary for Cheryl Ann Lawley

Ms. Cheryl Ann Bigelow Lawley, 69 of Kannapolis went home to be with God on Sunday December 24, 2017. The family will have a Wake / Memorial from 12 to 2 on Saturday 12-30-2017 at The Lakes, in Kannapolis NC.

Ms. Lawley was born on August 23, 1948 in Miller, Missouri to the late Donald and Claria Davis Bigelow. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Faith Woods and Judith Gay Hatridge. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Kaye Thomas and husband Kenneth of Kannapolis, one son, Thomas Edward Lawley, Jr. and wife Tammy of Newton, NC., one sister, Donna Rae Weber, two brothers, Barry Dale Bigelow and Danny George Bigelow. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Sean Michael Kelly, Clara Jean Kelly, Bronwyn Elizabeth Carey, Taylor Elizabeth Lawley, Thomas Edward Lawley, III, Wilhelmina Ok Soon Clemmons and Keith Alexander Thomas. Also loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Ms. Lawley will be remembered as a loving and nurturing Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Friend, and Child of God. She enjoyed taking care of her family, cooking, all types of sewing, quilting, crocheting, and embroidery work. She was a wonderful homemaker, decorator and talented in many ways. She had quite a personality and could always make you laugh. Knowing her enhanced the enjoyment of life. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones.
