Condolence: I wanted to offer condolences to the Cain family over the sad loss of Steve . The obit was so lovingly written and I am sure he will be missed by all. I would often see Steve at the Y pool where he was a regular swimmer. So sorry for your loss-Maureen

Condolence From: Ed Harvey
Condolence: I was saddened to hear about Steve's passing. My thoughts are with Steve's family and the many friends he left behind. I had the pleasure and honor to both serve Steve and work with him at Leunig's in the mid-80s to mid-90s. He always brought laughter, conversation and energy to the regulars at the bar. I remember a photo shoot of Steve raking leaves in my back yard when he was running for the Vermont House. In the years since, I loved running into Steve on Church St., talking sports, sharing a joke and a laugh. We will miss Steve dearly and always cherish our memories of him. Rest in peace, Steve.
