Dorothy C.  Hesler
Dorothy C. Hesler, 87, passed away peacefully on December 28th, 2017 at the home where she was born.

One of fifteen children, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Frederick C. and Mary (Dunn) Hesler and a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School.

A member of St. Joseph's Church, Dorothy was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church in Schenectady. A secretary at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Dorothy retired as their office manager after over 25 years of service. Additionally, Dorothy was an Amway saleswoman in the Capital District area. She was an avid bowler, gardener, and cook for the entire family. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family at her camp on Lake Champlain, boating and fishing.

Dorothy was predeceased by her siblings, Mary Ryan, Agnes Durocher, Jean Hesler, Jane Hesler, Elizabeth Mott, Edward Hesler, Charles Hesler, James Hesler, Frederick C. Hesler Jr., William Hesler, John Hesler and Joseph Hesler. Dorothy is survived by her sister Anna Nealon of Schenectady, a brother Thomas Hesler and wife Rita of Guilderland, two sisters-in-law Cathy Hesler of Rotterdam and Evelyn Hesler of Ballston Spa as well as many devoted nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning January 3rd at 9:15 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY followed at 10 am at St. Joseph's Church, 225 Lafayette Street, Schenectady, NY 12305 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 pm.

Interment in St Joseph's Cemetery.
