Condolences

Condolence From: Edward Rumen
Condolence: Bobby, I only discovered today that you had passed by seeing your name in the "taps" section of the current MOAA magazine. (We always did a lousy job of staying in touch after my military retirement.) I owe you so much. Coming from active duty in 1975, I really had little knowledge of how the Guard worked. As CO of HHC in the Signal Bn. and you as the First Sergeant, you took care of me and opened my eyes. (Oh boy, you sure did!) It was a different Guard back then but we got things done. So many memories; too many stories; stuff that happened to us that today that no one would believe half of what we did, yet I know it is all true. Sleep the sleep of the innocent, Bobby. You deserve it and save a bottle of wine for me when I show up to join you. -- Fast Eddie
