William Martin Synstad passed away on December 28th, 2017 in Peoria, AZ. He was born on December 5th, 1946 in Elmhurst, IL to his parents Richard and Joyce Synstad. “Bill” is survived by his spouse, Donna; his daughter and son-in-law Dawn and Glenn Frey; his son and daughter-in-law Randy and Mary Synstad; his siblings Jerry Synstad, Barbara Frederiksen, and Debbie Sherman; his eight grandchildren Jesse, Aidan, Tyler, Madyson, Gianna, Destiny, Brett, and Brandon; and his four step-children Cindy, Brenda, Brian, and Leneah.

A graduate of Turlock High School and Cal State- Stanislaus (BA in business management), Bill had a lifelong career in management and retail distribution prior to retirement in 2012. As a former president of the Denair Lion’s Club, Bill enjoyed working in the community. He enjoyed telling colorful jokes, traveling, cooking, watching movies, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM (viewing from 10:00-11:00AM) on Saturday, January 6th at Regency Mortuary located at 9850 W. Thunderbird Rd, Sun City, AZ 85351. Interment will follow at 1:30PM at Dignity Phoenix Memorial Park located at 200 W. Beardsley Rd.
