Obituary for Mary W. Luck (Williamson)

Mary W.  Luck (Williamson)
Mary Williamson Luck, 89, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Arthur Franklin and Viola Jewell Williamson, and the widow of Julian A. Luck. She was preceded in death by her step-mother, Minnie Leigh Williamson and a sister, Ann Brooks. Mrs. Luck was a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church in Ebony, Virginia, the Lake Gaston Woman’s Club, NARFE, Wesley Seniors On The Move Club and the Colonial Heights Senior Citizens Club. She was retired after thirty years as a cataloguer at the Defense General Supply Center in Richmond. Mrs. Luck is survived by her daughters, Julie L. Hughes of Colonial Heights, Gloria Jean Luck of Midwest City, Oklahoma; sons, Hugh F. Luck (Betsy) of Colonial Heights, and Paul E. Luck of Stoney Creek; grandchildren, Allison Wirt (Cory), Cory Hughes (Brandy), Ashley Ringstaff (John), Nathan Cook, Brandon Luck (Jennifer), Randall Barnes, Jessie Luck, Christopher Luck, and Kristina Manuel (Mitch) and thirteen great grandchildren. Mary loved spending time with her family and friends. She thoroughly enjoyed her retirement years at Lake Gaston. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Jason Elmore officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
