Obituary for Rita Annette Wetch

Rita Annette Wetch, 73, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 at Billings Clinic surrounded by her loving family. Rita was a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt and daughter…
Rita was born May 31, 1944 in Kewanee, IL. She was the second daughter of Adeline and Bernard Lorsen. Her parents split up when she was very young and she lived with her Aunt Loretta and Uncle Virgil in New Mexico until she moved back to Montana and met LeRoy Wetch.
Rita married LeRoy in Lovell, WY on November 21, 1961. They had three children: Jeff, Mike and Lisa. LeRoy and Rita were married for over 55 years.
Rita worked at Hopper’s Floral for many years until LeRoy became disabled in 1978. She was his primary care giver until LeRoy’s death last June. She also owned and operated a janitorial business contracted by the BN and Montana Rail Link Railroads in Billings and Laurel during this time.
She enjoyed ceramics, her flower garden and her grandchildren.
Rita is preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy; her parents and her sister, Shirley.
She is survived by her children; sons Jeff (Regina) and Mike (Linette) and daughter Lisa (Dan) Williams; grandchildren Derek Wetch, Isaac Wetch, Kendall Wetch, McClaine Wetch, Quaid Wetch, Amy Wetch, Heidi Wetch, Lindsay Wetch, Jeremy Williams, Faith Williams, Hope Williams & Grace Williams. She is also survived by her sisters, Bernie Massig and Joey Klein and her brothers, Robert Specht and James Martens and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation noon to 8:00pm, Thursday, January 4, Smith Downtown Chapel. Funeral Service held at 11:00am, also at Smith Downtown Chapel. Burial at Yellowstone National Cemetery.
