Lillie Ree Dogan  Redmond

Mrs. Lillie Ree Dogan Newett Redmond, 74, of Pelzer, South Carolina, departed this life on December 30, 2017, at her home. She was a daughter of the late James Matthew and Eva Moore Dogan.

She was educated and worked in the Greenville County School System. She was also employed at the Bibb Company in Greenville. She was a faithful member of the New Forksville Baptist Church. She served as an usher and a member of the Senior Missionary Ministry.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Ethan Cobb Newett and Mose Redmond; two brothers, James Willis Dogan and Clarence Matthew Dogan.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are two daughters, Gloria (Terry) Jones of Simpsonville and Karen (Darrell) Tate of Piedmont; two sons, Larry (Arlene) Newett of Spartanburg and Barron (Carolyn) Newett of Greenville; two sisters, Naomi Pruitt of Belton and Mary L. Dogan of Pelzer; five grandchildren, Re’shad Yeargin, Shayla Yeargin, Jasmine Tate, Jada Tate and Josef Jones; three great-grand-children; and a host of other relative and friends.
