Annemarie Charlotte Wimmer
92, of Fox Point, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in the Veteran Memorial Building, Halifax. Born in Germany, she was the daughter of the late Hans and Charlotte (Zuelcke) Falk. Recognizing that we are here to mourn her passing, it is imperative that we celebrate her life. Annemarie was a strong, independent and feisty lady who loved to laugh, play games and create with her hands. She loved warm, sunny days and greatly appreciated the beauty of nature around her. Her love of music, books and dancing lived well into her old age and her family will always smile as they remember their dear Mutti and Oma this way. Survived by her sons, Ron (Glynda) and Harald both of Fox Point; Botho (Marilou), Mahone Bay; daughter, Kornelia (Allan) Coolen, Fox Point; Brother, Hartmut (Maritta) Falk, Germany; sister, Liselotte, Germany; 10 Grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Adolf; son, Ortwin. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 6 in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. Rev. Laurie Omstead officiating.
