Brown, Yvonne A. age 81, of Excelsior, passed away peacefully surrounded by family December 27, 2017. Preceded in death by both parents, one brother and two sisters. Yvonne was a wife, a mother, a sister, a friend, a mentor, a confidant, a godmother, an artist, an historian, with devout faith. Yvonne was a respected and revered member of the community. She was an artist at the Minnesota State Fair for 43 years. Known for her love of Christmas and Halloween, her hand-painted art, ice skates, skis and witches and owls, she had many followers and admirers. Survived by husband, Richard; sons Jay Brown, Kyle (Petra) Brown, Thom Brown, Seth (Nancy) Brown; daughter Beth Brown; grandchildren, Silke Martin and Avedis Brown. She is also survived by six sisters, one brother, and many other relatives and friends. A viewing is scheduled on Thursday, January 4th, 2018, from 5-8 pm at Huber Funeral Home, 520 Second Street, Excelsior, MN 55331. The Funeral Mass will be held Friday, January 5th, 2018 at 10:30am with a viewing one hour prior to Mass. Held at St Victoria's Catholic Church, 8228 Victoria Drive, Victoria MN 55386, (952-443-2661).
