Obituary for Barbara Anne Cuny (Fichtl)

Barbara Anne Cuny, (nee Fichtl), 80, of Carlstadt for eight months and formerly of Lyndhurst for 17 years, passed away on January 2, 2018. For 10 years, she was a registered nurse at St. Francis Hospital in Jersey City. Barbara loved shopping and spending time with her grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Cuny. Loving mother of Kimberly Wisniewski and her husband Steve and Colleen Wojna and her husband Gene. Cherished grandmother of Justin, Jessica, Matthew, Ashleigh and Tyler. Funeral departing from the Kimak Funeral Home, 425 Broad Street, Carlstadt on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 9:30 AM for a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s R. C. Church, East Rutherford at 10:00 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation Thursday 3-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Due to the inclement weather on Thursday, visitation has been moved to Friday 3-7 PM and the Funeral Mass is rescheduled for Saturday, January 6th at 10:00 AM, departing from the funeral home at 9:30 AM.
