Obituary for Eileen Theresa Gallison
Eileen Cronin Gallison, 73, died peacefully in her sleep on January 3, 2018, after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer, at her home in Satellite Beach, FL. Eileen’s beloved husband of 53 years, Stanley Gallison, was at her side.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons Mark Gallison and his wife Carrie, and her grandsons, Jack and Luke, of Laguna Niguel, CA; Barry Gallison and his partner, Rod Davis of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and Jeffery Gallison and his wife Kathy, of Windham, NH.
Eileen Cronin was born in Cambridge, MA in 1944 to John and Abigail Cronin and graduated from North Cambridge Catholic High School. She married Stanley in 1964 and lived in Billerica, MA for more than 30 years. She retired as an employee of the Town of Billerica, and moved to Florida in 2004. Eileen is predeceased by siblings Marjorie Cronin O’Keefe of Tewksbury, MA; Maureen Cronin Cardullo of Chelmsford, MA; James “Chickie” Cronin of Billerica, MA; and John Cronin of Weymouth, MA.
She also leaves behind 16 treasured nieces and nephews. Eileen and Stan were avid travelers, bowlers and card players. Eileen most enjoyed sipping a glass of chardonnay while chatting with her friends Ellen, Pat, Eileen C., Bunny, Chris, Mary E., Sandy, Mary A., Ruth, and Mary T. Eileen will forever be remembered as the life of the party for her wicked sense of humor, her spot-on impressions and her playful antics.
A celebration of her life will take place on January 13, 2018 at Beach Funeral Home in Indian Harbour Beach, FL.
