The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of David Bailey can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I was in the A&M Consolidated Band when David was the Drum Major. Everyone had the highest respect for him. I have wonderful memories of David, how he inspired us, and his wonderful nature. God bless you, David and your family. Cheri

Condolence: I went to Consolidated schools in college Station, TX with David. I never knew him real well in our years of school, but he always seemed like a nice guy. I spent several hours with him 3 or 4 years ago in Fayetteville, AR. We had lunch together, walked around downtown and then went to his house where he showed me things he had built. He seemed very talented. I wish I had known David better. My loss! David's family and close friends are in my thoughts and prayers. RIP David!

Condolence: From Wee Aggieland kindergarten, to our joint killing of mesquite in Mason County to his vetting my pick of a first car, David was a friend, a confidant. Limited in recent years to a random card or text, never felt far apart in values, ideology, humor, etc. I miss him and I'm very sorry for his family.

Condolence: It was my privilege to have Dr Bailey at SHSU in the late 70s. I thoroughly enjoined him and thought him to be a great man. I have many fond lifetime impressions from the classes I had under him. God bless during this time.
