Pierre Cote
My sincerest condolences to you Su as well as Nicole, Mitch, Ward, Marcelline and Hewey. As well as Kitty and Barb and all your family.
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I write this. I am joining you today in remembering Bill ("Dad" as he wanted me to call him). Bill was truly a father to me. He was an inspiration and I knew I could always count on him to be there for me whatever the circumstances.
Even though many years have passed since we last saw each other, I was planning to visit him one of those summers so we could catch up, reminisce and hug each other. I often thought of him (and Su) and hoped you were (are) healthy and happy. When we visited, we would always spend many hours discussing life's moments - from world affairs, to finances, to relationships, to art, to things we liked to do, to places we visited in the world. He was very well-traveled, intelligent, smart, interesting and caring. He cared deeply for the ones he loved and I always felt appreciated to be in his company. The beautiful memories in my heart are endless and always bring me comfort.
Bill was a man's man. He 'straight-up' gave you the truth - always. He did not take fatherhood or friendship lightly. He was there for you at anytime and under any circumstances if you asked.
Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us every day... unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear. That is what you mean to me Billy Miner... You will be missed.
Dad, I will forever remember you, your kindness and your love!
