Message: Many times throughout his life as a farmer, Rick no doubt pulled up beside a tree for the shade and shelter it provided. He would probably eat his lunch or sip a coffee under its spreading branches, or perhaps even enjoy a well-deserved nap there. Without question, he understood and appreciated the importance of a tree both to himself and to the wildlife it supported. Now, as we plant this tree in his honour and memory, we hope and pray that you will take comfort in the knowledge that others will enjoy the same benefits as he did.
