The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Simmons can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Jimmy Simmons

I have known Jimmy and Mary Simmons for nearly 25 years. Jimmy was a very special friend to me and my husband, Larry, along with is wife, Mary.  We spent many Friday evenings together eating at various restaurants in town along with Winnie and Darryl Smith. Jimmy will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. He was a wonderful man with so many great qualities.  God bless you Mary and family. Our deepest condolences are with you at this time.
