Condolence From: Patti and John Nazzitto
Condolence: We send our sincerest condolences to Susan, Stacy and the Rappleyea family. Some of my fondest memories in school was having Nancy as my 2nd grade teacher at Perry Browne. Years later we would have wonderful conversations in my store and she would remind me of that little kid who would stand up in front of the class and entertain them by telling stories. I'm sure that would not have happened without the encouragement from a very special teacher. She was a wonderful teacher, kind and patient, as well as a great lady. Now she will be with Rapp and Pam in a much better place. Patti and John Nazzitto

Condolence: I will always remember Nancy at Chenango Lake and her love of her cottage and having her family with her. We had a wonderful chance to become good friends and she was always kind, welcoming and supportive. When my beagle, Emma died many years ago, and Nancy saw her little grave near our cabin, she grieved with me as if she had lost one of her own beloved dogs. Nancy's good cheer, joyful sense of humor, wonderful laugh all combined to make those very happy years at the Lake and I greatly missed her when she and Rapp moved back into town. The Rappleyea family were our dear neighbors and their spirit is still captured by the trees and the sunlight glinting on the lake they loved. Nancy, you bought joy into life and I was able to share in that and I am forever grateful.

Condolence: Mrs. Rapp was the first Rappleyea I became acquainted with when I was 7 years old and in her 2nd grade class at East Main St School (yes that was a long time ago). I will remember her for her kind and gentle way. My condolences to Stacy, Susan and their family's. She is in a better place now. May she RIP.

Condolence: Mrs. Rappleyea was my fourth-grade teacher at Gibson Elementary in 1976. She was one of my favorite teachers. I was very shy, and I always remember how kind and patience she was with me. God bless the family, and God bless Mrs. Rappleyea!

Condolence: Sue & Stacy my thoughts and prayers are with you. For the past few days I've been remembering all the great, fun times we had together living at Lyon Brook . The trips to Maine together - one was just the four adults and the other our great summer vacation with all of both families staying in the 'Bird cottage' in Cundy's Harbor when the toilet burned up. Couldn't beat that vacation! Some of the my best memories are of times when our families were doing things together. Nancy was a real lady and a wonderful friend; although I haven't seen your family in recent years, I will miss her as I know you both will. Rest in peace lovely lady.
