Obituary for Joseph Heinberg
Joseph Heinberg Joseph L. Heinberg of Willingboro passed away into God’s loving and eternal care on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at Lourdes Hospital Willingboro. He was 73. Born in Philadelphia, raised in New York, he spent most of his life in Philadelphia before residing in Willingboro with his brother and nephew. Joseph worked as a truck driver and mechanic for most of his life before retiring. Joseph was an avid outdoor fisherman. He was a meek and mild man who loved animals and his adopted outdoor feline family. Son of the late Ben C. Heinberg and Ruth Heinberg Brennan, and brother of the late Ben Heinberg Jr., he is survived by a son, Joseph Paul Heinberg (Cathy); his brothers, Charles Heinberg (Francine), and Edward Heinberg (Norma); and his sisters, Dorothy Brennan, and Ruth Astemborski (Domenic). He is also survived by his longtime friend, and beloved mother of his son, Kathleen Heinberg Cianci; and many nieces and nephews, and their families and many dear friends, especially Sherry Harrison. The family would like to thank all the nurses, doctors, and staff at Deborah Hospital for their special care for the time Joe was a patient. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 13, at the Dennison-McGee Funeral Home, 869 Beverly Rd., Burlington, where relatives and friends may visit with the family from 1 to 3. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Deborah Hospital, 212 Trenton Rd., Browns Mills NJ 08015.
