Though John was not a member of our church, we knew him through Helen, Chris, his grandchildren, especially Tim, Patrick and Brett. They carry a part of John inside them, and will keep his memory alive forever. We send our love, prayers and hopes that your memories, the good news of eternal life through our faith in Jesus Christ, will sustain all of you during this difficult time. Rest in Peace John.

Jeffrey S. Miller, JFK Memorial High School Class of 1982.
I had the honor of having Mr. Pallay as my History teacher during the 1981-82 school term, as well as have him serve as our Senior Class Treasurer, at JFK High School. Aside from being a great teacher and a very nice gentleman with a terrific sense of humor...what I also fondly recall about Mr. Pallay was his professional dapper sartorial style...he always wore short sleeved dress shirts to work, remained neatly dressed throughout the day and never once loosened the knot of his necktie at school. My deepest condolences to his family and close friends.

I worked with John at Kennedy High School. He was a great guy and an even greater NY Times crossword puzzle solver! His room was next to mine and I marveled at him completing those puzzles with a ball point pen. I sure he will be missed by his family and friends. Sorry I am unable to make his viewing.
